Stained Glass
The use of stained glass windowns in houses of worship dates back hundreds of years. While they certainly offer aesthetic beauty, their primary purpose was to depict Biblical stories. During times when literacy rates were low, stained glass windows not only served as remainders of Bible verses, but also made Biblical teachings more accessible to the masses.
